This was the outift i wore to my second interview at Starhub,

and third interview at GE Pacific Pte Ltd.

i realise that maybe the outfit for the first interview at ST was a mistake,

no wonder i failed to get hired. haha!

Good news!

I am reporting to GE (General Electric) coming monday,

as a Payroll Analyst!

It's a US MNC that has businesses in technology, infrastructure, energy, healthcare, aviation, finance.

Workplace is at Tanjong Pagar, near food centre.

It's a one year renewable contract,

not much benefits for contract staff, but i'm happy with the pay.

afterall it's rare to find a payroll job that accepts fresh grad.

heard that doing payroll can be challenging,

but i need this experience,

and hope one day i can go into compensation and benefits!

nah, no interest in bank. i duno why i study finance. lols.

Boss said he meant for it to be a perm position,

so he foresee he'll be able to justify the headcount after one yr..

i hope he can do it!

so that i can stay on for at least 2-3 yrs..

but i think also depends on my performance.

coincidentally on the same day..

starhub called to offer me the position of finance executive,

but i already took up the offer with GE.

suits my goal more also.

I will continue with tuition,

so i am going to be EVEN MORE busy!

Think le also scared.

But i will be brave. haha!

My mom bought some wok and got invited to a cooking class/wok demo class.

I joined her..and there were several other aunties lol.

it was conducted in an air conditioned office at Rochor Centre.

it's a recyclable bag inside for aunties to buy groceries? hahaha.

End up buying some kitchen ware from the office after the class.

omg, kitchen ware i also can shop.

i think my mom bring me there...mistake. lol!

but then the stuffs that we got were really useful leh..

next time i also want to get for my own home. hehe.

An impromptu meetup with dear ali at Citysquare with my mom and bro after tuition.

Had dinner at Seizeraya, some italian restaurant.

Not bad, all nett price average $5-$7, and it's nice!
