0609 consist of late kings & queens. we shld be called the late 0609 of nyjc. haha. the cip starts at 2pm but we meet at 12.30. left at 1 plus in the end. waste time & waste time...


there were few tasks to do. store. kitchen. interaction.


as most of us do not know dialects, nobody want to volunteer for interaction. how nice. so peu, me & ah wan raised our hands. yonghan was asked to join us later.


i can only say we were at a loss when we stepped out of the lift. dunno whr & how to start.


tried talking to the senior citizens. i can sense the loneliness in their eyes. so poor thing leh all of them.


theirs is really called no life ok. young pple like us, mugging is NOT NO LIFE.


the senior citizens there have breakfast at 10am, 2 hrs of exercise (not active ones though, cos they're mostly sick), have lunch at 12+, teabreak at 1.30pm, dinner at 5pm, & back to their rooms. the routines starts every single day, in the same way.


oh my..imagine how sian they are! can't eat or do wat they like..bounded by their illness & inconveniences..&..the nurses.


i think we may have more ai xin den the nurses there la..some..i'm not saying all..


everyone will grow old someday..we shld treat them with all the care with have. imagine ourselves growing old..nobody showers love on us..how meaningless life can become rite..jus living day by day..waiting to die. no good.


ok dunno why i din get to talk to teochew or hokkien elders. i keeo running into hainanese & cantonese. dun unstd wat they talking abt, but we've to appear interested & pretend tt we unstd.


some keep repeating wat they say..so jus pretend u're listening it for the FIRST time.


some jus keep speaking to us in malay when she noes alot of dialects as well as chinese..so jus nod our heads & smile.


there's one 80+ ah ma shook my hand & held it so tightly. i was abit afraid, but had to remain calm & keep smiling. somehow when i sayang-ed her shoulder, she loosened her grip..
den talk abit..told me it was her bday. i sang her a bday song but was interrupted halfway.
maybe my singing sucks but ahh nvm.hahas.
den she sang me the 'u're my sunshine..my only sunshine..' song, & some others songs which i couldn't make out wat she was singing.


dunno why leh. but i feel that touch is quite impt to make them feel u're close & u care.


though we may not like doing cip, but since we're there..we shld show them our empathy..
that's the least we can do for them. feel quite good after that. though i washed my hands alot of times. hees.

going there next fri again.


after that went Ben & Jerry's at cathay. ah huay & peu ate. fiona, ah wan & me went to look for filling food cos we were sooo hungry! lols.

Was out the whole of yesterday. went to cousin yanchng's hse at sembawang there.

had a sneak peek at her sch stuff. hehes..think she wun mind ba..cos she was at sch.

den we watched '3 ge hao ren' vcd. 4th aunt dunno how to use tt dvd player. called chng. ahas. it was the 2nd time i watch this show le, but i still teared. cry until need blow nose somemore. how exaggerating. LOL.

well, mom & 4th aunt had a good laugh seeing me like that. hahas..den chng came home.

oh b4 that we took a pic of me & bro wearing that shrek ears. but i think to prevent pple from having some eye discomforts, i shld only show my bro's pic. heh..

after that we went to AMK hub.


on the way, at the sembawang mrt station, suddenly got a woman fell to the ground. i tot she playing with her son til fall down la..but NO. it's sth like epilepsy or convulsion.


oh my..i actually forgot how to treat this! after 4 yrs of sj..got not much impression. maybe this case seldom comes up in our 1st aid comp practice for case. argh..can only stand there. guilty.


i went home & checked the first aid manual. luckily wat her son did was correct. ease her fall, protect her head, talk to her calmly & assuringly. phew..it was traumatizing la, 1st time see real case..not like practise tt time is fake fake one la..


after eating at the amk hub foodcourt, went to tt BIG NTUC. chng bought fbt & 4th aunt paid for my socks. den my gastric dun feel well again. lucky 4th aunt got medicine for me cos she sometimes oso like tt. ok after that le. THANKS to 4th aunt & chng! ((:


as mom wanted to buy toaster, we went suntec carrefour after that. chng & her mom went home.


oso went candy empire & bought my fave mint choc! the same kind as wat ah da brought back from Australia. yeyness :D oh btw oso saw ah da at the AMK hub. haha!

xiao aunt called to tell me abt her meeting with this guy. she say he reminded her of my ex. aiyo..so obviously her words reminded me of him.

i think some things really aren't meant to be eh. even the dried petals aren't meant to be kept long, i realized got sth like dunno if it's mould or not.

After several cooping-up-at-home-supposed-to-mug days since the start of june hols, i finally stepped out of my hse for a solid cause--Shrek 3.

the GP tchrs were sooo kind to organise this movie trip i shld say. well, the movie had some philosophical (oops,did i spell it correctly?) parts. it's nice, funny, & so cuuute! Shrek 3 is perfect for a good laugh. hahas..thumbs up!

hmm..met up with ali & peu at cityhall to go suntec Eng Wah. As usual, peu xiao jie was late again. but no worries at all cos ali & me got no problems with entertaining ourselves with meiying's K800i super cybershot phone. lols..okok maybe it isn't tt great but it's gd enuf. haHas.

aiyo wat was that effect for?? bu xiao xing de lah, duh! -.- but turned out quite nice? hoho.
