I had my first official job interview today.

MAD NERVOUS.

so many things to photocopy and cant seems to finish preparing for the questions.

my battle outfit. lol.

not really formal cos the person say no need,

just normal office wear.

So i went ST Electronics (E-service) in the morning,

interview was at 10am.

for the position of Management Executive, payroll and service benefits.

Cabbed from Tiong Bahru Plaza,

because i was afraid that i cant find Depot Road.

Defence Technology Tower.

The guard was holding a gun,

see le also scared haha.

registered for a pass,

and locked my camera phone in the locker.

I was asked to do a short writing exercise..

i chose a question on:

"Describe the toughest group that you have to work with, why was it difficult and what did u do?"

i had 15 minutes to type.

Okay there are 2 options, couldnt think so i chose this.

but still, i find it not easy to answer this qns..

bcos i think for all my life,

i nvr find working with people difficult.

Started to regret why nv kpo more when people gossiped about other group's conflict in SIM.

LOL.

There were supposed to be 3 interviewers, the director, HR manager, and the direct hiring manager.

Somehow the other 2 couldnt make it in the last minute,

so i spoke with the direct hiring manager.

i was asked questions like..

"tell me about urself"

"so what advancement would u like to see in 5 yrs, are u ambitious?"

"How do u think of ur leadership qualities"

"so are u an introvert or extrovert?"

"why shld ST hire u and not others?"

Luckily it didnt end up in silence..

i was abit nervous. haha, but still ok.

She explained the workflow, then i made some small talks with her after the interview.

I asked if there were many candidates,

she said yes so i better pray hard lol!

got to wait 1-2 weeks.

first job very hard to find. :(
