Working takes away alot of my time!

haha, i haven been touching the computer for one week.

No time to blog at all,

so i'll blog all in one go! hehe.

1 Aug 2011.

outfit for work day 1.

Boss intro me to all the colleagues in different departments.

and he treated me to orientation lunch at "Archipelago". (:

My payroll office is isolated from the others,

the 5 of us works in a room.

so confidential...pay ma. haha!

Office not very nice,

hope the new office will be better!

the stuffs are not mine.

they belong to the part time staff Cynthia,

i'll take over her once her contract ends.

Met up with boyfriend after work to get his dress shoes.

2 Aug 2011.

day 2.

Finally got chance to take a pic of the pantry.

I expected a nicer one haha maybe cos i saw yy's office so i compare.

but at least got coffee tea milo and green tea,

plain water got cold hot and room temperature.

Met up with boyfriend again to hunt for shoes!

3 Aug 2011.

day 3.

Tuition was cancelled and so i headed home to rest.

4 Aug 2011.

It's my colleague's bday!

for my team, they had this tradition..

will buy cake when it's someone's bday..

day 4.

This is the first day i had lunch with the younger people from finance dept.

i did not make any friends belonging to my age group for the first 3 days,

because my office was so far away from the others..no chance to interact!

lunched with Chris boss on first day,

with Thila and Susie on second day,

with kellyn and Cynthia on third day.

i am the only young one in my team..

all the others are mothers of teenagers already.

and they have their own lunch partner.

super sad, i even prepared to buy lunch and eat in office on my own on the 4th day. :(

But they took good care of me.

Thila knew my woes, she helped to arrange lunch with the other young peeps.

so now i join them for lunch,

and i am happy again! :D

i think i like my team mates more and more haha.

day 5, TGIF dress down!

Finally got my own company laptop.

The IT people took some time to configure and set up for me.

this is the newer version,

and where i'll be working on. (:

Working life is really different,

but i'm adapting already,

trying to balance it with tuitions and leisure.

Still learning in progress..payroll has so much to cover!
